Designed around the 19” x 14” net bag the handle is shortened to 18”, a size that provides necessary reach and leverage while still fitting in a net holster on the fishing pack. The net bag is extremely fish friendly being made of a rubberized mesh that minimizes mucus loss and fin abrasion.
Montana Net Company field tested this design on American Creek in Katmai National Park in 2023 on a five-day float trip. They used this design daily to land rainbow trout up to 29”.
